Louisiana Printmaking
During my time in Louisiana from the fall of 2024 into the spring of 2025, I underwent a return to the medium of printmaking. Each of these prints was a spur of the moment, unanticipated event for me. Something I found myself doing in spare time, but at the same time reminding me what I loved so much about the medium. These prints were some of my first real sales as an artist, and ended up being the bulk of my sales in Louisiana.
Each piece included here eventually found meaning for me as semi-self portraits. Although not literal, but in subliminal meaning and parallels. I found a part of my current experience reflected into each one, which during its conception was always unintentional. Which is why I connect to them that much more.
